Lauren Letterman is co-founder of Welcome Baby KC. For the last 10 years, she has worked as a birth doula, prenatal yoga instructor, and hypnosis for birth educator. Lauren works with families who select their birth team to suit their specific needs and expectations.

Lauren is a lifelong learner and enjoys meeting new people! Through this, she's created extensive files of evidence based resources and referral lists for the pregnant people she serves. No matter what path birth and parenting bring, Lauren is with her clients to cheer them on, brainstorm options, or throw down some gentle logic.

When she's not researching or offering an encouraging word, Lauren's happiest hiking, swearing, and traveling. Her other loves include: binge watching Brooklyn 99, reading fictional dystopian novels, walking her pup, Rhaegar, and spending time with her family of five.
